# Mike is Hiring privacy notice

Last updated: 22 August 2026.

Mike is Hiring publishes source-tracked hiring intelligence and provides optional private candidate tools. Public job and company research is distinct from account and candidate-workspace data.

The public dataset contains job postings, company facts, compensation signals, and provenance collected from public employer sites, applicant-tracking systems, and other cited sources. Basic service logs can include IP address, user agent, URL, timestamps, and error diagnostics. Signed-in candidate tools can process account identifiers, saved jobs, preferences, application state, and information the candidate chooses to submit.

Information is used to operate and secure the service, answer requests, maintain source quality, provide requested features, measure reliability, prevent abuse, and improve public read models. Processing may be needed to provide a requested service, comply with law, or pursue legitimate interests in operating a safe and accurate hiring-information service.

Infrastructure providers can process limited information for hosting, database, authentication, monitoring, and email. Information is not sold as a candidate lead list. Records are retained only as long as needed for the purpose, security, disputes, legal compliance, or reproducible source lineage.

Depending on applicable law, a person may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing, and may complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office. The service does not make legally significant employment decisions. Send requests to [hello@mikeishiring.com](mailto:hello@mikeishiring.com) with the subject `Privacy request`.
