About

Hiring intelligence with its evidence left attached.

Mike is Hiring is a public research and job-search platform built by Mike Williams, Flashbots’ founding recruiter and a builder of hiring systems for frontier technical teams. It covers AI, crypto, and adjacent frontier-technology companies and roles.

What the platform does

The service gathers public job postings and company signals, normalizes them into consistent read models, and publishes tools for search, market comparison, compensation research, application preparation, and interview preparation. A browser interface serves people; the public REST API, hosted MCP server, Markdown representations, and npm CLI serve software agents. The public service can be explored without an account. Private candidate workspaces require authentication and remain separate from public aggregate intelligence.

How to interpret the evidence

Freshness and provenance matter more than a polished claim. Job and company records carry source and observation metadata where available. Compensation can be disclosed by the employer, extracted from a posting, or modeled; those are different evidence classes and should not be presented as equivalent. Broad market claims should be scoped to the returned sample and its generation date. Public talent outputs are aggregate: the platform does not publish person-level candidate, employee, contact, or private workspace records through the public agent surface.

Who is behind it

Mike Williams operates Mike is Hiring and publishes his project record at the public passport page. The platform name describes the product; it is not a claim that every listed company or role is represented by Mike.
